It all started as a favour for my sister. She had an idea for a charity for mums, she asked me to whip up a quick website and I had it up for her within two hours. It was a whirlwind, but so fun! That night, I created a business plan and Affordable Web Design was born!
Since that day, A-W-D has helped all kind of businesses takeover online! From Chocolatiers, award winning artists to banks and mini cab providers! However, I want to take the time to highlight Increasing Black Representation, one of the earlier websites launched.
Just 4 months into their first cohort of the mentorship programme, they have achieved:
Over 390 mentoring sessions and almost 200 hours of mentoring.
90% of mentees described their mentoring sessions as “very effective”.
35% of our mentees have already secured an internship or graduate job
A-W-D has expanded to provide all your marketing needs, including:
Creating and running social media platforms
Printing and designing business cards, letterheads, YouTube banners, posters etc
Launching marketing campaigns
and so much more!
It has been so wonderful working with all different kinds of niches!
